I have never really been a crêpe fan but as I was walking around the French Market for the first time, I came to FliP Chefs. The guy behind the counter was so friendly that he reeled me in. Talked to me about the crêpes and then I ordered the flip tuscana... DELICIOUS! It was very big and filling - great for the price. They also gave me a punch card (Bonus: It was tripe punch day.. woo hoo!). So now 7 more times and I get $5 off. I just started working in this neighborhood.. I will definitely be back!

I wandered by Flip a couple days ago and thought I'd try it. Wow, it was good. I had the Croq Monsieur, which to me translates to a ham & swiss panini. I was surprised at how huge the sandwich was, then very pleasantly surprised at how good it was. This is no deli ham; these are the nice thick slices you get when your mom carves up the leftover holiday ham and gives you some to take home. Really - that's what I was thinking of as I ate my sandwich - it's as good as I'd get at Mom's. That's as good as it gets.

FliP Chefs aren't your standard crêpes; rather, they're rolled burrito-style and wrapped in tinfoil. They're still just as delicious as a normal crêpe! I got a savory crêpe and it was incredibly delicious and a great lunch option. One of my friends got a s'more crêpe, which was incredibly fun to watch being made and smelled absolutely glorious. I wish I had the time to go back and get another crêpe; next time I'm in Chicago, I'll definitely make sure to swing by!

I'm a huge fan crêpes whether they're sweet or savory, so when I saw a Groupon offer for FliP Chefs, I pounced on it immediately. I'm so glad I went and I'm counting down the days until I can go back! Flip is tucked away inside the French Market, which is great so you can grab your crêpe and walk around to all the other vendors[...] yum! All the crêpes are made right in front of you which is really cool to watch.[...]

crêpes are delicious as a rule, but FliP Chefs take the art of the super thin fancy pancake to the next level. they offer a variety of sweet and savory options and i've never had something i didn't enjoy. want to customize your crêpe experience...sure go for it, but if you ask me, why mess with perfection?
